The Body Shop opened its first store on 27 March 1976, finding a perfect niche in the market (it now has over 2,000 stores in over 50 countries!) by being Against Animal Testing, Supporting Community Trade, Defend Human Rights, and Protecting Our Planet. In June 2007 The Body Shop became 100% vegetarian, not quite fulfilling the Vegan diet because of ingredients such as beeswax.  The brand sells a wide range including cosmetics, homeware, body products and of course FRAGRANCES.

I think one of my first fragrances was from the Body Shop, I was given it as a christmas present aged about ten; White Musk. Although I don't usually buy fragrances from the Body Shop, I love all there other lotions
and potons especially the body butter... yummy! The latest fragrance, perfect for spring, is Japanese Cherry Blossom. The fragrance is described by the Body Shop as "A beautiful and authentic light floral fragrance that captures the romance and elegance of the treasured Japanese cherry blossom. Spray onto the pulse points to fragrance the skin with this feminine, decadent scent."

Notes: Fuji apple, chinese magnolia and osmanthus flower, Star jasmine, japanese cherry blossom and japanese persimmon, Sandalwood, hinoki wood, and fruity musk
