Anaïs, is a female name meaning grace and favor, and I think that Cacharel had a ballerina type in mind when creating this scent as its so pretty and feminine.
Anaïs Anaïs was launched in 1978 and as a child there was always somebody I knew who owned a bottle. I was always transfixed back then on the pretty, flowery bottle, which at the time looked so antique, so valuable, a perfume bottle made for a princess. This fragrance for women contains sweet Rose, blend of cedar, leather, gardenia, jasmine and lily of the valley. This women's fragrance is recommended for daytime use and the sweet smell makes me want to wear it whilst running through a long grassed meadow!
